Welcome .

You will find information on connecting to or joining a 'Watch Scheme' in your area. If you are already a Member of a Watch Scheme you will hopefully find information which may be of use to you. There will be links to other sites within Neighbourhood Watch for your viewing.

Our Ambition

Our aim is to enlarge the Membership of Neighbourhood Watch (NhW) within Lincolnshire, so that we can give greater comfort and support to the neighbours and allay some of the 'fears of crime' that exist.
Your involvement in this can make a great difference, come inside and find out how.

Neighbourhood Watch Profile

The Neighbourhood Watch, throughout the country is formed of like-minded people who have an interest in improving the security of the area in which they live. Lincolnshire is but one of forty-three counties who have active neighbourhood watch schemes working with the Police to achieve this end.

The County Associations are built of 'Watch' schemes, comprising a lead member ( a co-ordinator ) and a group of, say ten to fifteen, neighbours/households, usually in one road, street, estate, or even a complete village. Each scheme becomes a member of a District Association, each District Association is then a member of the overall County Association.

It is a recognized fact, across the country, that the existence of Neighbourhood Watch (NhW) schemes do have an intrinsic effect on crime. Where there are NhW signs up, criminals tend to go elsewhere, they consider it is safer.

All members of the NhW are volunteers, of all ages and backgrounds. Experience of life is all that is needed.

If you have an emergency or witness a crime in progress,

Do not report it to this site as it is not monitored 24 hours.
